Our depth and breadth of experience, information data gathered over the years allows our project team members to provide a broad scope of services ranging from Entitlements, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Geotechnical Engineering during design, to Soil & Materials Laboratory Testing and Inspection during construction, to performing Forensic Analysis should a structure need a retrofit after its initial construction.
After more than 40 combined years in the construction industry, Ms. Cindy Dickens, and Ms. Vicki Williford, saw a true need for a more quality based, client focused approach to providing construction related services - as a result, Independent Solutions was formed.
IS’s key team members have over 130 years of combined experience in providing Entitlements, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing & Special Deputy Inspection services in the Southern California Area.
The IS team brings over 12 decades of continuous experience in providing Entitlements, Civil engineering, Land Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering, Soil and Materials Testing and Inspection services.
We have been an integral team member in the construction of hundreds of projects including multi-million dollar structures, multi-use and essential services buildings, transportation systems, and commercial/retail/industrial buildings. We bring a proven track record in implementing complete Pre-Construction, Construction Oversight, and Quality Assurance programs on all sized construction projects in both the Public and Private sectors.
